Brooksville woman faces felony drug charge
BROOKSVILLE - A traffic stop Sunday resulted in a felony drug charge for a Brooksville woman.

Deputies pulled over a red Saturn after receiving a report from vice detectives that there could be drugs in the car. They found a total of 3.5 grams of methamphetamine in several small plastic baggies, as well as a marijuana cigarette.

The driver, Vikki Sue Coleman, 46, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Coleman told a deputy she had been selling the drug for the last three weeks because she needed the money.

She was taken to Hernando County Jail, where she was being held Monday on a bond of $11,000.
