This letter is in response to Frances Earl's column that appeared Thursday in which she once again attacks Sen. John McCain. Let us take into consideration that some of things she wrote were true, at least one can say about McCain is that he served his country and has never associated with racists like the Rev. Wright and radicals like William Ayres as Sen. Barack Obama has done.
It truly amazes me the Democratic Party has picked a candidate who has so little qualifications for the job of president - a man who has sponsored no major legislation in the Senate and who has given nothing but endless platitudes and catch phrases like "Yes we can," and "Change we can believe in." He reminds me more of the character Harold Hill from the "Music Man" than a presidential candidate.
And speaking of change, who does Obama pick as his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, who has been in the Senate for 36 years, longer than McCain. Biden's own background is questionable, with his connection with the banking industry and his oldest son being a lobbyist for drug companies. This is the same Biden who early in the primaries said in a debate that he would pick McCain over Obama. This is the same Biden who has made overt racist statements about his own state and about Asians owning 7-11s.
This is supposed to be change? Wake-up America! You're being taken for a ride by being suckered by a clever con artist.
