TAMPA - Crude oil is trading at its lowest numbers in months, which has caused pump prices to decrease even more.
Analysts are keeping an eye on the Gulf of Mexico as Tropical Storm/Hurricane Fay looms.
If the storm turns toward refineries in the Gulf, it could have a serious impact on the U.S. oil supply, according to AAA Auto Club South. Even the threat of the storm could affect output and prices if refineries decide to evacuate some areas for precautionary reasons.
The average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Florida is $3.74 - 33 cents lower than a month ago.
