Girl Scouts To Hold Registration For 2008-09 Membership

Spring Mermaids Service Unit of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will host registration rallies as follows:

•Thursday, Aug. 21, from 7 to 8 p.m., at Pizza Hut, 2903 Commercial Way, Spring Hill.

•Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at Mr. Armadillo's, 17055 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill;

•Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Hebron Baptist Church, 18085 Citrus Way, Brooksville;

•Saturday, Aug. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Fellowship Wesleyan Church, 11250 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill;

•Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at Chick-fil-A Family Night, 13143 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville;

•Thursday, Sept. 4, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at West Hernando Branch Library, 6335 Blackbird Ave., off State Road 50, Brooksville;

•Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Dairy Queen, 370 Suzanne Drive, off U.S. 19, Spring Hill.

The Service Unit is seeking girls ages 5 to 17 as well as adult volunteers who will serve as active leaders and co-leaders. All girls who register will receive a gift.
