Florida Cancer Institute-New Hope appoints Molinari

ZEPHYRHILLS Florida Cancer Institute–New Hope recently announced the appointment of Mimma Molinari as front office supervisor for its Zephyrhills center at 38010 Medical Center Ave. Molinari lives in Spring Hill and comes to the organization from H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic and the Malignant Hematology outpatient clinic. She worked for six years in a variety of positions as a medical assistant, certified phlebotomist, EKG technician and in a senior patient service representative role. Prior to working at Moffitt, she also served as an office manager for six years in a private physician's office in New York. Molinari will supervise the front office team at Florida Cancer Institute–New Hope's Zephyrhills location as well as the administration of the Zephyrhills center and various patient service duties.

BROOKSVILLE The Greater Hernando County Chamber Of Commerce Government Affairs Committee will present the 2008 Candidates Forum at 6 p.m.

SPRING HILL Oak Hill Hospital recently announced Karen Dixon, physician's assistant-certified, will be a guest speaker at Oak Hill Hospital's bimonthly Healthy Hearts support group. Texas Roadhouse will accept Bennigan's cards this month

WESLEY CHAPEL Those Bennigan's and Steak and Ale gift cards still have some value. Starting last week, all Florida Texas Roadhouse restaurants will exchange Bennigan's and Steak and Ale gift cards for a free entrée certificate. Guests can take the gift cards to any of the nine Florida Texas Roadhouse restaurants, including the Wesley Chapel location, and it will be exchanged for a free entrée certificate. There is no limit on which menu item a customer can choose, but there is a maximum of one card per table. The offer expires Saturday, Aug. 30. Summit for Youth scheduled for Sept. 30

BROOKSVILLE Sponsorships and booths are still available for the fourth Annual Hernando County Health Fair, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 18. The annual event has drawn as many as 2,000 visitors.
