Frank E. Manchester III, 79, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Aug. 7, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Providence, R.I., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Wakefield, R.I.
Mr. Manchester was a Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran, having attained the rank of Sergeant, and was a business consultant in the manufacturing industry. He was a Christian by faith.
Survivors include a son, Alan Manchester of Brooksville; two daughters, Bambi Favali of Swannanoa, N.C., and Susan Lexvold of Brooksville; and three grandchildren.

Samuel E. "Sam" Bechtel, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at home.
Mr. Bechtel was born in Berks County, Pa., and moved to this area 21 years ago from Burke, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Emma; four daughters, Gale, Sallie, April and Barbara; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna Mae Watkins, 72, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Aug. 1, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice House, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Lady Smith, Wis., and moved to this area 22 years ago from Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. Watkins was a member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Grace Lutheran Church, Elmhurst, Ill.
Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Mahler Jr. of Spring Hill and Michael Fields of Tennessee; three brothers, Harold Carlson of California, Gerald Carlson of Texas and Robert Carlson of Chicago; a sister, Beverly Rosen of Chicago; her companion, Les Knight of Spring Hill; and four grandchildren.

Terry L. Williams, 56, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Brooksville and was a lifelong resident.
Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Shae McKenzie of Tampa; two brothers, Howard Strother of Wilson, N.Y., and Charles F. Wilson of Brooksville; and two sisters, Matilda Williams of Brooksville and Debra A. Everett of Fort Mitchell, Ala.
