BROOKSVILLE - The Hernando Builders Association honored its past presidents and enjoyed a holiday general membership meeting on Monday, Dec 3, at the Silverthorn Golf and Country Club in Brooksville.
Emilia Raia, executive officer for the Hernando Builders Association noted that 13 honorees were in attendance which included Maurice Black, the association's first president in 1975.
Brenda McDaniel, office manager coordinated the venue for the evening and Bobbe Allen, membership coordinator prepared registration. Commissioner Chris Kingsley served as the guest of honor and provided a positive and humorous speech on leadership.
Dudley Hampton Jr, president welcomed new members: Lisa Williams of All Performance Title, Robert Johnson of A-Plus Roofing, Michele Nichols of Gallagher Family Homes, James Quirk of M & I Bank and Umberto De Luca of American Integrity Construction Services.
Robin Pastore, Membership Chairperson and Patty Goble, Spike Club president presented awards to members and gave out several prizes.

Dudley Hampton Jr. concluded the meeting with warm wishes for a Happy Holiday season.
The HBA's central purpose is to represent the interests of the building industry and the general public within Hernando County.
The members of the HBA are builders (large and small), engineers, bankers, subcontractors, suppliers and various other companies with interests in the Hernando County building industry.
Collectively, the members of the HBA have a strong voice concerning regulatory decisions that affect our industry.
