The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce's Government Affairs Committee hosts an old-fashioned political rally Politics in the Park July 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hernando County Fairgrounds located at 6436 Broad Street in Brooksville.
Let your voice be heard. The event provides an opportunity to meet local, state and federal candidates and discuss important election issues facing our community.
This is a free, family-friendly event offering political speeches, great food and drink available for purchase, entertainment by Kenn E as Elvis, including a chance to win two tickets to a Ray's baseball game.
Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a Straw Poll administered by the Hernando County Supervisor of Elections and can register to vote on site.
